How it trades

It follows the push of the last 10 candles: up, it buys; down, it sells. The trend and the breakout blocks have a smaller say.

Its mix of the four building blocks, the same as the replay on the Baroq front page, on one-hour candles:

You can change the weights with sliders, or describe the agent in one sentence and let Baroq set them.

The limits it trades inside

An agent cannot be saved without them. These are the starting values; you set your own.

It also pauses new trades around big scheduled news, and it pays the spread on every fill.

Where a momentum agent struggles

Sudden turns. Momentum is late by design, so a sharp reversal often costs a stop before the agent turns with it.

USD/JPY: what moves it

The dollar against the yen moves with the gap between US and Japanese interest rates, and with how nervous markets are: in a scare the yen is often bought.

It can trend for months while the rate gap holds, and it can drop fast when that changes or when Japan's authorities step in. The result of a trade is in yen, so its dollar value moves with the rate too.

Try it before you trust it

Paper money first, always. A free Baroq account runs one agent like this on live prices and writes down the reason for every trade. The Lab then tests variations of it on past candles, picked on one part of the history and checked on the part it never saw.

Other styles on USD/JPY: trend-following · buy-the-dip · breakout.

The same style on other markets: Gold (XAUUSD) · Silver (XAGUSD) · EUR/USD · S&P 500.

Paper money only: no order reaches a broker. Analysis software, not investment advice. Trading with leverage can lose money quickly, including all of it. A replay or a paper result is not a promise of future results.
