Evaluation terms
Draft. These terms must be reviewed by a lawyer before evaluations go on sale.
1. What you buy
A Trader Evaluation is an assessment of trading skill on a simulated account. The evaluation fee buys access to the evaluation only. It is not a deposit, an investment or a payment for financial services, and it is not held for you.
2. Every account is simulated
Evaluation and performance accounts are simulated. No order reaches a real market. A performance account is a simulated account on which you can earn Performance Rewards that BaroqTech pays from its own funds.
3. Rules and breaches
The rules on the evaluation page apply. An account that breaks a loss limit or stays inactive for 30 days closes automatically. The reason is shown on your dashboard.
4. Prohibited practices
Latency arbitrage, tick-scalping exploits, copying trades from others, hedging across accounts, abusing simulator errors and trading within 2 minutes of high-impact news on performance accounts are not allowed. BaroqTech may close an account and refuse rewards when it finds them.
5. Identity and eligibility
You must be 18 or older and not resident in a country we cannot serve. Identity verification is required before a performance account opens and before every Performance Reward is paid.
6. Performance Rewards
Performance Rewards follow the reward share, schedule and consistency rule shown on the evaluation page. Your evaluation fee is refunded with your first reward. Rewards are reviewed by a person and may be refused for rule abuse, with the reason given.
7. Refunds
You may ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying if you have not placed a trade. After the first trade, fees are not refundable except where the law requires.
8. No advice
Nothing here is investment advice. Results on a simulated account do not predict results on a real account. Read the risk warning.
